A new format hit in late 2019 in Pioneer. I love this new fun format and as I collect the main cards in each set (not necessarily the Planeswalker decks) I’m in a good place to play pretty much any deck. The only issue I’ve had is my wife Rachel and I battling over the four copies of a card as we decide to run the same or similar decks.
The idea of playing my favourite decks from Standard past with a few upgrades really strikes at the nostalgia aspect of the hobby. I like Pauper as I get the sleeve up cards and not have them sat in folders gathering dust.
You’ll see some commentary on the format, decks I’ve brewed and maybe some meta calls on decks I’m playing.
